3. Hosting and server logs

Our website is hosted by Internex (hosting provider). Each time a page is opened, the server automatically stores technical data in log files: IP address, date and time, the page requested, the amount of data transferred, the referring page, and browser and operating system. We need this data to run the website securely and reliably. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest). The hosting provider deletes the logs after a short period and does not combine them with other data.

4. Language choice in your browser

When you switch the language on the home page, your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage (localStorage) so the site opens in your language next time. This information stays on your device and is not sent to us. You can delete it at any time in your browser settings.

5. Contact by email and WhatsApp

When you write to us by email or WhatsApp, we process your details (e.g. name, phone number, message) to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to a contract) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The WhatsApp links open the service of WhatsApp Ireland Limited (Meta), to which WhatsApp’s privacy policy applies. Data may also be transferred to the USA. We delete your enquiry once it has been dealt with, unless we are legally required to keep it.

6. External services on the showcase sites

Our showcase sites (under “Showcase”) load fonts from Google Fonts (Google Ireland Limited) and code libraries from cdnjs (Cloudflare, Inc.) and jsDelivr. When you open these pages, your IP address is transmitted to these providers, including to the USA. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (consistent and fast display). The main Alavija pages are not affected.

7. Encryption

This website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise it by “https://” and the padlock icon in your browser.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase and restrict the processing of your data, the right to data portability and the right to object. Write to us at info@alavija-group.com. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority, for example in Montenegro with the Agency for Personal Data Protection and Free Access to Information, or with the authority where you live.

9. Changes

We update this privacy policy when our website or the law changes. The version published on this page applies.
