Motion + Booking is the Motion package plus a booking system: guests see free dates and prices, pick a slot and send the booking. You see everything in one place and confirm. Booked dates cannot be booked twice.
A calendar that works for you
Without a booking system, a lot runs through messages: Is the date free? What does it cost? With the calendar on your website, guests see at once what is free and what it costs. They pick a date and send the booking. You are notified and confirm or decline.

Why direct bookings?
With a direct booking, the guest books with you and not through a booking portal. Portals keep a commission for every booking they broker, and the contact with the guest belongs to the portal. The aim is not to switch portals off but to get more guests directly. What that looks like in tourism is shown in the article Tourism digitalization.
Booking.com and Airbnb: the sync
If you use Booking.com or Airbnb, the calendar can be synced. A date booked on one platform is then blocked automatically on your website too. For this, the calendars are linked through an interface. The sync is not part of the standard, we set it up on request.
